Walk and Stay Series: 15/05/2023

Join our long walk for a day or ‘walk and stay’ with the group. We will be walking the whole of the Saints’ Way section of the Cornish Celtic Way, from the South coast to the North, crossing the beautiful Cornish landscape of streams, woodland, moorland, lanes and villages; retelling the stories of the Celtic saints and finding their heritage in place names, Celtic crosses, chapels and wells. Accommodation will be basic: on the floor of chapels, a church and a hall, and the walkers will need a mat/air-bed and sleeping bag. The facilities vary, but there is no shower facility on the route, although there is access to hot and cold water for washing. We will have ‘car support’ to transfer luggage and supplies. Walkers must be able to climb over stiles and walk the distances shown in the information below.

Walkers will need to be able to help with washing up and tidying the accommodation after our stay, making their own breakfast and packed lunch, and with working as a team to help with any meal preparation.

Day-walkers: If you would like to walk with the group for a day, please contact Penny for information.
