Find the Saints Way at the back of Withiel Church. This takes you past Blackhay Farm, over a ford to join a lane, briefly, at Tregustick, then along a stream in some fields to rejoin the road at Higher Bosneives. From here, stay on the road following the signs and the map to pass the St. Breock Downs Wind Farm on your right.

Directions: St. Breock Downs to St. Issey

Time: 2.3hours

The path continues passing the wind farm on your right, past Pawton Springs, over fields. Cross over the A39 onto a lane turning right to Blable farm. Find the path leaving the house to cross many fields to Trenance. At trenance, LEAVE the Saints Way by walking down the steep lane towards St. Issey.

Directions: St. Issey to Padstow

Mileage: 3 miles/5km

Time: 1.25 hours

Find the footpath opposite St.Issey Church, as shown on the map, across a valley and some fields and up to the lane at Higher Mellingey. Here you rejoin the Saints’ Way. Turn right and follow the lane to Mellingey after which the Saints’ Way path goes left into fields and down to Little Petherick.

After Little Petherick Church, the path continues between the church and the church hall. Follow the Saints Way signs along the estuary to Padstow. As you are coming in from the estuary and fields into Padstow, head for the  granite Obelisk on Dennis Hill, erected in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Jubilee.
