St. Mawgan to Newquay

Go up through St Mawgan Churchyard, emerging onto the road, keeping the Convent on your Left hand side, aim for the ‘No Speed limit’ sign on the Right Hand side.  Just before that you’ll see the Public Footpath sign which leads uphill to the stream and sheep fields, climb up to the road.  Walk Right to Trevarrian (B3276), Turn into the village of Trevarrian and walk a little way into the village. Then once you come to a T-Junction, look immediately across the road (and you will see a pathway running along the side of houses). Cross the road, don’t keep on the B3276 and then the pathway becomes a very well-defined path a sign saying  ‘Watergate Bay 1 mile’. This path leads to the Coastpath, turn Left along the cliff Coastpath down to Watergate Bay.

Follow the Coast Path from Watergate Bay to Fistral Beach, Newquay.
